On Wednesday I was doing some research for yesterday’s blog post about Nerd Surfing.
Well when I say research what I really mean is that I logged into Sweeva and asked a question in their chat room.
I am not sure if a social traffic exchange has been used as a source of primary internet research before but it certainly has now.
I wanted to know whether the shorthand term for Nerd Surfing was “nerfing” or “nurfing” as this has been discussed on Traffic Exchange Live earlier in the week and those in the room had voted on their favorite term.
As I couldn’t remember which term won the popular vote from the room (I am not even totally sure which of the two terms I voted for) I thought I would ask.
Within moments of asking my question two things happened:
- Jon Olson provided me with the answer – nerfing.
- Jerry Iannucci said hello to you. (yes to you.)
And as I promised Jerry that I would pass on his kind wishes to you all that is my Saturday blog written for today!
P.S. I had planned to publish the last in my current series of blog posts about Jeffrey Lant’s WorldProfit organisation today but I have not held that over until tomorrow.
