Were The Tim Tech Nerds At The Cooking Sherry Last Night?

Have the Tim Tech nerds been at the cooking sherry?

I ask because at last night’s T3 seminar they all seemed to be a little bit giddy and there was more than a touch of the schoolgirl giggles about the guys.

They were what grown-ups would describe as “over-excited” when referring to the child at the party who had eaten far too much cake and fizzy pop.

In addition to the general air of excitability, they were all also wearing suits and ties.  And that is not something you see every day. Or ever for that matter.

Had they taken a corporate decision to ditch the sports casual look? Was it a bet or perhaps a dare?

And then there was all the name dropping as they rattled off the names of marketing gurus they know and love.

“I have ‘guru x’ on speed dial,” said one.

“That’s nothing ‘guru y’ is my best friend and writes emails for my list,” said another.

“‘Guru z’ comes round to my house every Christmas and puts the lights on our tree,” said a third. “He is over here right now actually, changing the oil in the car.”

Ok so I made the above quotes up; maybe I was at the sherry too.

Perhaps it wasn’t sherry at all. Maybe it was shots of neat vodka. Several shots of neat vodka.

Even Justin was wearing a shirt and tie – briefly at least – but he was the first to break cover and by the time I grabbed his picture from the screen the shirt had long been abandoned.

But fear not, nerd fans…the guys were simply just having a laugh.

A quick audit revealed that the cork was still firmly in the neck of the sherry bottle and the vodka was utterly untouched.

So why were they so excited?

Well it could be something to do with the fact that they have a new programmer and a new nerd partner on board.

Step forward Rich Parker who has filled both roles at once.

Jon Olson said yesterday:

“Bringing Rich on board opens us up to massive amounts of potential and we are all very excited about this.

“This is the start of a brand new dimension now that we have two full-time programmers who are also partners. It is going to take us into the stratosphere.”

No exact plans for future products were announced on yesterday’s show but it was revealed that Rich’s addition to the team means that Tim Tech will be offering software products in the not too distant future.

Watch this space.

I suppose it is just possible that in a moment of madness I made the whole thing up…and I could have doctored the pictures I guess.
Time will tell. ;)

Perhaps it was an early Halloween celebration —–alas, fun was had by all.
You NEVER know what the Tim Tech guys (and Brenda) will be doing next.
Maybe that is what makes them so fun to watch—–
nah, it’s the fact that I learn something new every day from the TT crew.

Stay tuned…………..

Great stuff Catherine,
I learn from them too and they also learn from each other, so we are all winners…well nearly all winners.

I have been accused of writing too much on this blog about Tim Tech but if they must insist in doing interesting stuff then I must insist on writing about them. ;)

Hey Patrick,

I certainly don’t know what in the world was happening on T3 Live (everyone wearing a tie???) but I’m sure it surely had to be something interesting as always!

As for new Tim Tech Nerds, that can only be good for us as users, really looking forward to what they plan for the hopefully near future?

I thought that the logging-in training bits were a nice add-on already.

So far I only have seen one video but then again, I haven’t been logging on that much besides it took me almost like two days to get to the UK and get internet access LOL

The place (Brighton) is amazing Patrick!

I hope to be able to write about it in the following days, right now I’m dead tired and I’m planning to crash on my bed already.

Speak tomorrow and take care!

Hi Sergio and welcome to England my man!

Regarding T3, I like to think that the examples we set in our promotional pictures where we wear ties has had some effect on the Tim Tech team.

I mean who in their right minds could not look at our photos and be inspired to greater things. ;)

Please do write about your experiences because I want to hear what you think about your first experiences in this part of the world.

Cold yea?

Take care.
